Engagement photos - Danielle and Frank

Meet Danielle and Frank. The two people who have me so excited to finally shoot some weddings. I never really had much interest in photographing weddings, seeing as so many photographers do so. However when I met Danielle one night and listened to her talk excitedly about my photography and how she would love me to be her wedding photographer (when I have not even shot one yet), I was convinced. I photographed the happy couple in April and came home excited for August.

I just love Love, don't you? It is the one thing that I love more than photography (and maybe flowers).

We the Ghosts EP Cover shoot

 

So I just realised that I never shared these photos with you. I shot them back in October for We the Ghosts. We photographed as the sun rose up over Burleigh Beach to the sounds of lorikeets screeching good morning in the Norfolk Island Pines above. I created the above image, and the second last shot through the 'expansion' method -meaning it is made up of many many photos.

The shoot was for the cover image of their new EP 'Holdin' On', out now on iTunes!! I have embedded the video clip for the single onto this blog post, so scroll to the bottom to see it.

Home on Mount Tamborine

This is not much of a home tour, it is more a selection of photographs I took at my Great Aunt and Uncle's home on Mount Tamborine when Mum and I went for a visit recently. The guest room had been made up with fresh cut roses and camellias, and there was a double batch of butterfly cakes (with cream cheese icing!) awaiting us. Visiting Mount Tamborine is like our little special getaway place, where we can wander through the paddocks aimlessly, gather some avocados and make dandelion wishes.
