Tomorrow I begin.

_DSC0107_1_1

They are scary things that birthday's bring nowadays. 20 is a big number for me.
Tomorrow for many is just the new financial year, but for me is the beginning of  many things, including no longer being a 'teenager'!

Thankyou to my supportive followers who have commented my posts since Feburary. You should be seeing alot more of me, hopefully every day in fact, as I update the blog with my 365 project .... a photo a day for 365 days....

It sort of makes me excited and worried, at the same time, for my year to come.

Fingers crossed I make it through to the other side without missing a day!!!

xxxxx

P.S. Hope you like my new blog header, I made so many, and found it really diffucult to make a choice...

P.P.S. Rules for myself:

1. A photo a day. Not one from the day before.
2. This will take 365 days. Try and post everyday, unless you are on holiday, in that case you can be excused for a few days... But you can't not take photographs for those days!
3. Take camera everywhere.
4. Don't fail, Have fun.
5. You can do it. :D

les fleurs dans le jardin

My blog is undergoing some changes at the moment, so please excuse any random changes. I am just working on making it a bit prettier and making it feel complete. I am creating a header to hopefully have up for Friday!

This month has gone so so fast. Suddenly it is less than 3 days till I plan to start my 365 Project...

stepping out

I haven't been out in days. Since having my wisdom teeth out on Friday, I have been hiding my swollen face in my room watching Gossip Girl, generally just wasting time. I had to go out and take some photos this afternoon, however I only ventured out to the back garden. I can't wait to be back to normal.

I am not really a pink fan.. But I love this jumper, and skirt.

Days like these...

Photobucket

On days like these, I truly love Brisbane. Beautiful weather, not having to wait too long for the bus, eating too much chocolatey things, walking around Southbank and across Kurilpa Bridge for the first time.

T.L.

the walls have their secrets

Dad reminded me I had not posted in almost a week, so here you go. A rather half-hearted post, with a picture of the lovely morning light in my brother's bedroom.
My friend is leaving in a week to London/Europe, with her return set for Janurary 2012, or later. I am so glad she is going, but I will miss her.

We the Ghosts.

My lovely boy is quite musical, and he has just formed a band with his friend Alex, called We the Ghosts (go and Like them on FB!). I did a early morning shoot (7am) with them a few weeks back, but the results were slightly unsuccessful. it was my first time doing a photoshoot with two people; so it was a bit awkward until I got inspired -I guess you have to start somewhere.

Anyway, my point being in telling you this is that they are playing a few shows in Brisbane soon, one at the Music Kafe in West End on the 17th June - I can' go as I get my wisdom teeth out that afternoon (Ouch!).

And, the gig I am most excited about is the one they are playing at the Finder Keepers markets, 3rd July, 10.30am at the Old Museum. Awesome!
So you Brisbane folk, come and see them play! I will link some music when they upload it to the net, and give you a reminder notice when it is closer to the date :). Who doesn't want an excuse to go to the Finder Keepers markets anyway?

first day of winter.

It is always a happy realisation, when I remember that it is the first day of a new season. Today, it is almost extra exciting and scary, because in the next month I will have finished uni for the semester, registered for next semester's uni timetable (which looks to be horrible), gotten my wisdom teeth out, begin my last year of the green P-plates on my car, hopefully book a trip to Melbourne, and on the 1st of July, I will have been alive 20 years and I will start my 365.

These photographs were for my photography porfolio at uni. Again, they are something different, but I am super happy with them.
