Beach Holiday #1

So my followers will probably know I went to the beach for two weeks recently. I took many, many photos, and what good would they be if I didn't share them! Here are some from a walk we took on the beach on the first day.

Due to our dog's blindness, and his need for us to be his seeing-eye people, he came on holiday with us; and made himself ill by drinking too much sea-water.

Wishlist

It seems to be a "blogger thing" to create wishlists. I thought I would put my own spin on things, and make myself a photographic wishlist for the upcoming months.

I want to create with nature for my photographs.

I want to create more delicate emotional portraits of relationships.

I want to incorporate drawn images with my photographs.

I want to photograph long flowing, windswept hair over and over again.

I want to master taking beautiful portrait with harsh sunlight.

I want to photograph girls and their bikes.

I want to make overexposed look good.

Hello blogosphere! I hope you didn't miss me too much -although I must admit I did kind of miss you..

I have just been visiting another of my favourite places in the world -my family's annual beach holiday destination, in northern NSW. The photos here are from when I took hold of my mother's iphone armed with the instgram app, and snapped a few photos before our dinner at the hotel one night; the wall of succulents and purple hydrangea's were calling me to visit with a camera.

I have two rolls of film (once developed and scanned) and many many digital images to share with you! I hope you all haven't left your Christmas shopping too late, like I have. Whoops.. Now to face the crowds of Brisbane.

November 365 favourites

So here is November's roundup of my favourite photographs from my 365 project. It turns out that I have already shared many of my favourite images, as they have been the ones I have taken with my friends as models, and the ones I took at Mt Tamborine on the weekend. So I have just four favourites for you today. I can't believe it is December now, and that I am almost half way through this project.
