Polaroid 300

First photo using the camera, when I had a fringe!

Last year as a gift for my birthday, Jean bought me a Polaroid 300 -which is pretty much the same thing as a Fuji Instax. It is a lot of fun, however I rarely find a moment to use it. I have been trying to rememeber to take some shots with it at the shoots I have done in the past few months and I have only just gotten around to scanning them in last week.

It is a lovely little camera, and a lot of fun for everyone, because it is so intriguing to watch the photo appear. I hope to one day buy a real polaroid, like a SX70 and take some snaps before all the real polaroid film dries up entirely.

Filmy wonders

 

light leak skies

I just recently finished a roll of film that has been sitting in my Nikon EM since December (which is why there is a christmas tree photo). There are a few more light leaks than the previous roll which, although has produced some interesting and pretty results, makes me wary about how much worse it will get, as I believe that light leaks don't always make the photo better.

I have popped an image from my disposable camera on the end too.

I have become obsessed with magazines, and am quickly losing space to keep them in. This one is good because it only comes out a few times a year.

Photos from my Easter Weekend

Le Cygne

A friend from uni/makeup artist approached me to photograph her "White Swan/Black Swan" concept and of course I could not say no. I had not yet photographed a model with such elaborate makeup, nor a ballerina, so it was a lot of fun.

We are all thrilled with the results, and the different settings used for each look seem to compliment eachother quite well :)
